Unfortunately and fortunately I was privy to the horrifying specifics of my father’s death. I refuse to dance around it, to shove his suffering underneath the couch cushions with the stale crumbs and abandoned change. I refuse to closet my suffering into misguided channels through which only more suffering and low vibration are bound to manifest. This leaves me standing face to face in the bright light of day, ready to expose the mystery man of death himself…

My likes and dislikes, my jaded outlook, and my misguided intentions brought on one suffering after the next…..like weeds in the garden, the sufferings seemed to be multiplying by the year. This ignorant thinking lead to one bad habit after the next, which created MORE symptoms of suffering, which then required MORE “bandaids” and quick fixes to be ashamed of…..until it finally became like I was two completely different people, the person that everyone else saw, and the one ONLY I KNEW….. the bad, the ugly, indifferent, unintelligent, and unworthy girl that was living a complete lie.
Read MoreMy friends, we are living in a time in human evolution where instead of having to step onto a bloody battlefield and kill or be killed by our very own human brothers and sisters, we can continue evolution by making it our responsibility to step into the bloody battlefields of our minds. And I for one, am feeling especially grateful today, that the battle being fought on my battlefield consists of making sure that I am….. reading books, meditating, breathing, eating healthy foods, programming my mind with healthy thoughts, having a dedicated yoga practice, singing mantra, and you get my drift.
